Time travel doesn’t just require traveling back in time. It also requires traveling back to a pinpoint-specific location in space.

when you invent a new technology, you also invent the accident of that technology.

The Accident doesn’t just apply to technology, it also applies to people. Every person you meet introduces the accident of that person to you. What can go right and what can go wrong. There is no intimacy without consequence.

Like everyone, she carries around a suitcase of troubles everywhere she goes, but she leaves it unlocked, for anyone to rifle through if they care enough to be curious.

It’s burning to death in the flames of your own mind.
