“Speak for yourself. I am very handy with a crab pot. I actually intend to catch us some. We can take them back to the Guildhall and Olivia can have the cuisiniers cook them up.” Hale licked his lips. “With garlic and melted butter…” He moaned and rolled his eyes back in his head. “Do you need me to leave you alone with the crab?”
“Eat,” he said. “I’m going to get the king’s chief advisor, Sim Daemastra.” Hale stiffened at this, his hand frozen in the act of popping a grape in his mouth. Sim Daemastra was here? It didn’t surprise him, but somehow, he had still harbored some futile hope that he wouldn’t have to see the man. “You know him,” Marius said.
His calloused hands roamed over her breasts, gathering their small forms in strong fingers. She let out a little moan and reached for the button of his pants.
TOO MUCH TOOOOOO MUCH. PLEASE, SPARE ME THE POUNDING
and here my dumb ahh thought that they were going to sit down and have a nice little talk with tea and everything. clearly not.
and this isn't even the end of it
Hale twisted the man’s wrist until it broke and the Black Guard dropped his knife with a garbled curse of pain. Hale seized the weapon and plunged it into the man’s eye socket, then throat, then chest. The guard convulsed beneath him, trying to get his hands up to fend off his attacker, but he was as powerless as a child. He bucked beneath Hale, his death bellows resounding like music in Hale’s ears.
this is what we call, overkill
if this is what love looks like, uh, i don't really think i want that much of it
“When I saw you… that first time. You were the most beautiful sight I had ever seen.” Hale’s heart twisted painfully as she recited back to him the words he had said to her. “I am very handsome,” he murmured, stroking her brow, tears falling from his nose into her hair.
Our spirits become something more. The wind, the water. The whales. I think I’d like to be a whale.” Hale shook his head. “You’re not going to die.” “Hale.” She smiled sadly at him, lifting her hand to cup his cheek. A sob broke from his lips. “I’ll follow you,” he said. “I’d make a good whale.”
She flipped the pages, and there was more. Trick, Trick, the pages were filled with Trick, every possible combination of poses and angles, as if Thom had been performing a study of Trick, watching him as a hunter watches his prey. No. She realized. As an admirer watches his beloved. She closed the book with a sad smile and jumped to find Thom standing just steps away, holding two plates piled with food. “So now you know my dirty secret,” he said, his voice flat—cautious.
HAHAHAHhahah....?
WAIT WAT. THOMS GAY WOAH WHAT. WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE WHY HOW WHAT DID I MISS.
wait someone pls tell me if hes gay, like what
“She’s in love with one of them,” Hale said, his voice monotone.
that not funny hale
this is the part where i absolutely with all of my heart hate hale. i hate him. ok so what your gf just died and you're in mourning that does not mean you can insult lucas or wren. you uptight son of an asshole, you really did not need to destroy the entire world just to avenge sable.
Hale winced inside at that but kept his face impassive. He deserved their resentment, their scorn. It was just another price he would have to pay for avenging Sable. And no price was too high.
AND NO PRICE IS TOO HIGH BTCH I COULD WRITE A WHOLE ESSAY ABT HOW MUCH I HATE YOU RN LIKE OH MY FCKING DAYS OK SO WHAT SHE GOT KILLED BY SOMEONE, BUT YOU ALSO KILLED SOMEONE FOR HER, SO WHATEVER OK DROP IT. YOU REALLY DO NOT NEED TO DESTROY YOUR HOME AND SABLES HOME AND EVERYONES HOMES FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH FCKING REASONS
Go to Nova Navis, or across the mountains to Ferwald. Centu. Live. What we had here…it’s gone.” Wren’s lip quivered. “And what about everyone I love? What about you, Hale?” Hale stood, tossing her the rucksack. “I’m already gone, too.”
yeah hes away with sable
"hey hale have you seen sable"
"yeah sable went to the heavens, she'll be back next week- NOW STOP TALKING ABT HER"
