This is a story of freedom and love. The story of two young people ailing in heart and soul. I was one of them.
You too should be a little confused because that is my constant state of being. Life itself is confused. Even Robert Pattinson, the vampire, said, “I’m definitely very confused.”
The world is made up of stories. If it wasn’t, life would be insufferable.
Why are people born into the world? That’s easy. So they’ll have a story to tell. Some of us die before the story ends, some of us die long after the story has ended, and some of us die right at the very start.
As you know, the person who opts to swear at his enemy instead of throwing a spear has established a form of civilization.
“I wish that I could remember things like you,” he said. “Because life isn’t what we experience. It’s how we remember it.”
The passing of time leaves similar traces on the human spirit. Fools and saps like us realize that time has been passing when we see the outlines on the walls left behind by such paintings. Walls yellow and fade, just as time takes its toll on us. How are we to bear it? If you ask me, we can’t.
