the devil can’t create. He can only distort. If he can’t get me to fall through weakness, he tries to get me to fall through misuse of my strengths.
we assemble together, we are to come ready to give things away for the encouragement and strengthening of others.
person with a healthy inner world. They have such abundance of heart that they have to prepare ahead of time how they’re going to give away what they’ve been given. It may mean an encouraging word or a promise from Scripture. It might also mean laying hands on someone for healing or releasing the peace of God that you carry.

Reaction to error usually creates another error.
(Ps. 67:1-2). Living a highly favored life attracts people to the God we serve. We are supposed to model life under the reign and rule of a perfect Father. This is the culture of Heaven made practical for all those who look at our lives.
Revealing the heart of the Father is the key for building a culture with a value system that reflects the culture of Heaven.
Fulfillment in life is always through surrender to His purposes and is found through our fellowship with
the Father, who is perfect in every possible way, has designed us for a life of personal fulfillment. But it only works His way. His rules are not confining in the sense of punishment or unhealthy restrictions. They are empowering, as they connect us with His original design.
our basic trust must be in the one who designed us for pleasure—His and ours.
Personal fulfillment happens by pursuing the right things in God’s value system. A better way to put it is personal fulfillment is not found in the pursuit of personal fulfillment. It is the product or fruit of pursuing God’s heart and purposes for our lives.
true spirituality is powerful, practical, natural, real, flexible, and uniquely satisfied in our own skin.
When you were saved, what were you restored to? What did God redeem you for? He restored you back to His original intent: to be a people for the glory.
The glory is the manifest presence of Jesus.
Paul said, “You are restricted by your affections” (see 2 Cor. 6:12). If my affections are sent in wrong directions, or I’m all entangled in worry, then I am robbed of the delight that I can have in my journey with Christ.
Look it up
I did. He's saying they were withholding their affection fromPaul.
If they didn't feel close to Paul it was because of their lack of affection, not his.
Jesus said that the Holy Spirit reveals the things that are to come (see John 16:13). We have been given an amazing opportunity and an incredible responsibility. Our responsibility is to be used by God in such a way that the glory of the Lord becomes manifest in the earth.
We are facing an opportunity to reap the greatest harvest of all time. There are more people that are about to be saved than have been saved in all of human history.
It’s going to happen because the people of God on a daily basis carry Him, His presence, His Kingdom into our world of responsibility and influence.
Psalm 22:3 is that He is “enthroned” upon the praises of His people. Believers who come daily before the Lord with lifted hands and a voice of praise, ministering to Him deeply and profoundly, are interacting with the presence and the glory of God in such a way that they are discipled to recognize the Holy Spirit. We are being discipled in worship. God is mentoring us.
God wants us to sense the moving of His Holy Spirit. Otherwise, we can do a lot of well-intended things for God, based on principles of Scripture and really—at times—miss what He’s actually doing.
we are people of the presence. We’re people of the glory.
(see 1 Kings 18:42-44).” That is not a cloud to be impressed with, but Elijah knew it was the beginning. He ran for cover because he knew small beginnings explode into great expressions when we respond in faith.
small things can become great with gratitude.
want to become a person of the presence
We are to be transformers, people who bring about transformation and change into every environment, and that only happens because we live from His glory. We live in the atmosphere of the presence of God where nothing truly is impossible.
We are growing in a deep affection for the Holy Spirit, and from that place we are learning how to host Him, giving Him first place.
Impatience? That often comes from the need to be in control. The bottom line of the need to be in control is the absence of trust in God. So I have to step back and cultivate that trust.
Grow in your affection for Him, and stop evaluating yourself. Just get over yourself.
develop that sense of presence.
CREATING HEALTHY FAMILY We are adopted into God’s family, so we intentionally create family and community wherever we go. The way we love people is a direct reflection of our love for God. So, we think like healthy family members and do what’s best for the whole environment, mutually submitting to one another in love and unselfishness. In covenant relationships, we purposely grow our capacity to trust and be trusted as we empower and confront one another in order to live out who we truly are. We are loyal, which is demonstrated most radically when people fail. Forgiveness is our standard and

The primary lens through which we interpret the Bible is the person, life, and redemptive work of Jesus, because He is the most complete revelation of who God is and what He cares about.
Studying the Word and experiencing God’s presence should never be separated from one another.
God is big and victorious.
We focus on the good that God is doing in the world and, even though we do not deny the existence of difficult or painful circumstances, we live with contagious hope and joy. We believe and live the prayer, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Therefore, we partner with the King in natural and supernatural ways to establish mercy, justice, and righteousness until He comes.
We are called to be the light of the world, not the light of the Church. So, we are looking not to escape the world, but to see Christ’s victory manifested in individuals and nations, even in the face of resistance and conflict.
