I may look like a healthy tree on the outside, but the truth is hidden inside my roots.
According to recent reports, in the Muslim-majority countries in the Middle East and North Africa, more than 70 percent of children aged two to fourteen years are disciplined in a violent manner. In some countries—like Yemen, Tunisia,
Palestine, Egypt—over 90 percent of children report being violently abused.
Every single aspect of your life is clarified for you. For someone who is scared and confused, such a system, designed with military precision, would be a saving grace.
Quite often, unfortunately, in misogynistic societies, mothers are vicious to their daughters. Exerting power over their (female) children is the only domain where it is acceptable.
Girls are how the level of a man’s, or his family’s, honour is measured. The more control he has over his wife and daughters, the more honourable he is.
According to Islam, only Muslims have value. It’s okay to rape non-Muslims or take non-Muslims as slaves. All other people—other than devout Muslims—are to be met with varying
degrees of hate. The most hated of all are the Jewish people. This cannot be overstated. The hatred for Jews in Islam is very clear, very deep, and unrelenting.
It is important to note that many Arabs and Muslims are not antisemitic, but unfortunately those people are silenced because they are not adhering to the accepted and dominant narrative.
But Hamas does not want peace. It wants to annihilate Israel and everyone in it. It is not ambiguous about this. This is clear to anyone who has witnessed any of the Al-Quds demonstrations that are held across the planet, even in Western countries, annually. Chanting hateful rhetoric in the streets is generally unacceptable in those Western countries, unless it is virulent antisemitism—that is ignored.
There is a prevalent impression that Islam is a religion of peace. Only people who have never cracked open a Quran can assert that. The Quran and Hadith are chock-full—chock-full—of violence. In the age of the Internet, there is no excuse for people to mindlessly repeat sound bites. Ignorance is now a choice.
The direct response to that would be to have a day where we encouraged
Muslim women to take off their hijab for a day, but of course we could not do that. Girls and women can be killed for removing their hijabs. Aqsa Parvez, a sixteen year old girl in Canada, was strangled to death by her father and brother with the hijab that she refused to wear.
Hijab is just the tip of the iceberg. It is the physical representation of the subjugation and dehumanization and absolute gender apartheid that is commonplace in many parts of the Muslim-majority world.
Women in the West generally support one another in their resistance, but it’s important to note that in societies that are highly patriarchal and highly misogynist, women rarely support one another.
There is no greater stupidity or double standard today. We need to look at the action, the incident, not the skin colour or ethnicity or religion of the person performing the action. That is irrelevant. An immoral act is immoral regardless of who is doing it! We should all criticize bigotry, misogyny, child abuse, and other acts against humanity. Why do we care who is doing it? It’s all equally wrong. It’s the most heinous racism of low expectations if you do not hold all human beings to the same standards.
That is the mind-set of Muslims in a nutshell: I don’t need to learn the truth—I already know it. I don’t need to read the ingredients. I don’t need to read science books. I don’t need to learn anything more—I already know. And once you think you know, there’s no desire to learn anything further.
I don’t know what brainwashing academy they all attended that taught them to use the same modus operandi, but I see clones of my mother all over the news these days. Christopher Hitchens called it the “horrible trio of self-hatred, self-righteousness, and self-pity.” It was as if he’d been raised by Muslims. How did he hit the nail so squarely on the head like that?
The tradition of Katb El Kitab was started when Mohammed wanted to marry six-year-old Aisha. By agreement, she would be his according to Islamic Law, but he wouldn’t consummate the marriage until the agreed upon date: the onset of menses. According to Hadith, that fateful day came when she was nine. It is not outside the realm of possibility for a girl to get her period at nine, but it is suspiciously young. The average age is twelve. Laughably, Islam apologists insist that girls mature faster in the desert, which is simply not true. Despite his conjured reputation of being the perfect example

Islam isolates you like that. It is like a school of fish all moving in one direction, and if you don’t fall in line, you feel ostracized and different.
