I guess you’re about to go back to radio silence so for what it’s worth… In Solaria blue means royal. And to me, blue means you.
And poor Xavier...he’s like
the cutest fucking Pegasus I ever saw.” I ran a hand over my face and groaned. “If it wasn’t so damn serious it’d be hilarious.”
“You wanna lose two hundred and fifty House Points for disrespecting a teacher while breaking curfew?” he asked. “You wanna tell me if that’s a dagger in your pocket or if you’re just excited to see me?” I taunted.
I hadn’t spent the last few weeks trailing her around campus to protect her from them just to quit
now and leave her vulnerable.
“I prefer my girls a little less blind drunk and a little more eagerly responsive,” he replied. “Besides, you wouldn’t forget it if I’d fucked you.”
“I have a perfectly good bed downstairs,” I replied, shaking my head just a little. “Why would you want me to stay?” Darius frowned like he wasn’t sure what to say to that, but he inched a little closer all the same. “Because it feels right,”
Darius: But maybe we could call it a draw?
“You took Tory Vega home?” I questioned, putting my Atlas down and doing up my shirt. “Are you fucking her?” Please say yes so I can tell you about Darcy.
“Chiedo al buio di disturbare questo corpo dalla pace e di mettere la sua magia nel mio sangue.”
“-would fucking break me. So don’t you dare give in to them. I’ll follow you into the shadows
if I have to and drag you away from them kicking and screaming. Because they can’t have you. They fucking can’t.”
I didn’t understand half of what had just gone down, but one thing was completely and utterly clear to me and I was going to make sure I never forgot it again. Darius Acrux was not my friend. He was cruel and mean and ruthless, and he wouldn’t bat an eye at hurting me a hundred times in a thousand different ways. I never should have tried to see him as anything other than what he was. And I wouldn’t be making that mistake ever again.
“Seth, I swear to the stars, if you hug me with your fucking dick out, I’m gonna rip it off,” I snarled, and he pulled up short with a whimper.
Seth headed across the room and proceeded to prise the coffee pot out of the wall as if it was a totally normal thing to have to do.
“I’m trying to get Diego Polaris’s saliva off of my girl,” he growled.
“Roxy’s not a nice girl,” he said, his gaze fixed on mine, his pupils larger than normal in his endlessly dark eyes. “No matter how pretty she looks in that dress.”
She wasn’t just a girl though. Not to me. She was the one girl I shouldn’t want, the one I couldn’t have, the one I didn’t need. And yet I did. And everything in my life could be damaged so badly by that need that I’d fought it tooth and claw up until this point.
Roxy Vega, I’m gonna make you mine.
