One teacher takes 150 kids and screws on some algebra, an-other screws on some world history, a third screws on some Hemingway. Over the course of four years, each successful kid gets more than twenty components screwed on. And in the end, they’re screwed, indeed.
In my case, as a former student: my own screws got loose, dropped on the floor, and returned back to the teacher promptly after graduation. 😁
