I narrow my eyes on her. “You spent years begging me to be a dirty slut, and now that I finally am, you’re trying to make me single.”
Violet will definitely have worse trust issues with me if I go and get myself killed after just eternally binding her to me. But, if all goes well, it’ll be a lovely wedding gift.
Fuck’s sake, this girl…
Oh fuck my life. I have a camel toe problem. I have a leather jumpsuit camel toe problem. I’m not the sort of girl who can rock the toe with confidence.
Waking Vance from this trance is impossible. I’ve tried absolutely everything I can think of. I even did a sexy crawl across the ground, pretending I was Catwoman the entire time, given my outrageous leather outfit. I meowed. I meowed at Vancetto Van Helsing.
Fucking mental connection. This? This is where the line is drawn? Orgasms?!
I sometimes miss the days when not blowing myself up while trying to make shampoo was my biggest concern.
The frustrated vampire bangs on the door. “Hurry it up in there. We’ve got more pressing matters to—” He narrowly dodges a blade that stabs through the door, having been aimed at his forehead. “That’s rude,” Arion states too carelessly. “On another note, this is decidedly his tie-on-the-door move,” he adds, tapping the side of the blade.
She stalks firmly…toward a tree, and she snaps it with one hand. With another embarrassing roar, she slings the tree into another so hard they both crack. Then she pounds the ground like a gorilla, as though the flowers there have offended her.
Violet is decidedly determined to find out if immortals can still suffer cardiac arrest without some sort of physical catalyst. We’re her guinea pigs.
“As much as I would love losing myself in you, especially after the rough few days, I’m afraid I have to escort some wolves to the running lands. Also, there’s a stamp on your forehead that spells ‘LOSER,’ and I’m finding it terribly distracting during this really intense moment.”
“Why does it look like you’ve just had a huge revelation that has stunned you out of operational mode? Are you rebooting, Van Helsing?” Damien asks me.
