Race often gets confused with ethnicity. Your ethnic identity is your cultural identity. This is also a social construction. Unlike race, which specifically looks at your physical features, ethnicity zeroes in on your family’s cultural and ancestral heritage—like language, traditions, and history—to place you into categories.

YOU CANNOT HEAR SILENCE. INACTION CANNOT BE SEEN. WE CANNOT FEEL THE MOMENTUM OF CHANGE IF NOTHING HAPPENS.
