“House of Flame and Fury is wands—fire. House of Blood and Sorrow is cups—water. House of Breath and Blade—that would be swords, or air. And pentacles—the earth element—that’s the House of Iron and Bone.

Wands correspond with fire and rule things like passion, inspiration, creativity, and spirituality. Pentacles, the earth suit, connect to the material realm—money and resources, career, home, physical health, sensual pleasures. Emotions and relationships belong to the suit of cups, the water element. And air, the element connected with swords, has to do with both conflict and mental energy. Thoughts, communication, words, ideas, things like that.

“Do I…” I peer up at them, my lashes fluttering dramatically. “Do I have slutty little eyes?” “Well, I didn’t want to say anything,” Nat says, “but yeah, your eyes are basically begging for it.” “Dial it down, eye-whore,” Isla says, and in that moment, I’m pretty sure her original assessment was right: she and Nat are definitely my people.

Sooo it isn’t tradition because no everyone even goes? lol I love how his argument has literally fallen apart. Also why didn’t she join her friends at their social event? Plot holes man… plot holes.

So he’s a Celtic god, the good doctor’s a wolf, and I’m a lake? Okay, I may experiment with a lot of herbs in my tea blends, but even I’m not perpetually high enough to buy that.
