You must be aware of the tendency to just hold to something—the Bible or The Secret or something else—without testing whether it works. As our time together unfolds, I am going to use teachings from the Bible, and I want to encourage you to not just think, Well this is authoritative because Paul said it, or Jesus said it, or Moses said it.
