My answer is to take a little bit of your money and fly to Africa to visit the kids I spent time with at that school. Or meet with the kids in the Middle East, Asia, or South America who are living in similar situations. When you experience the energy these kids have in the face of so much oppression, you’ll realize how it’s not about your work ethic versus someone else’s lack of one. It’s about recognizing that you’ve been blessed to be able to apply your work ethic in a country with as many opportunities as America has.
