Some are democracies; others are dictatorships, a dominant parent imposing all the rules and consequences, defining the parameters of its members—its subjects’ personal freedoms. Some are peaceful; others are at war with themselves, literally violent, kid-subjects hit for breaking rules, or for no reason. Some are manipulative, fronting love but feeding their members disempowering beliefs, lies.
