Here, though, is a man who does far more. Moses does not merely feel sorry for despised Israel, but he actually goes down to them, adds himself to their society, and lives with them. You would be surprised if some famous person in Washington, D.C. or London were to give up house, fortune, and position in society and go live on a small income on some crowded street in the inner city for the sake of doing good.
