We always sit in the front pew of the Reformed church on the dike – in the morning, evening and sometimes in the afternoon too for the children’s service – so that everyone can see us coming in and know that despite our loss we still visit the House of the Lord, that despite everything we still believe in Him – even though I’m beginning to have more and more doubts about whether I find God nice enough to want to go and talk to Him.
