Christianity fits me like my stage clothes, and gives me unbreakable faith. There’s a lot about it that I like. And when bigots allege that Priest are a devil-worshipping band, I often fuck with their heads and say, “Oh, no! I’m a gay heavy metal Christian!”

and then on the road with Ozzy for six weeks in America and Canada, leading up to Christmas 2010. The shows were great… and I didn’t even have to fill in for Ozzy once!

Couldn't make this one. I was living the life of a broke college student again. I did manage to catch Priest on their "Epitaph" tour the following year, though.

By now, like a lot of veteran bands, Judas Priest are a time machine. We can play songs from the seventies, or eighties, or nineties, and transport you straight back to that era. Hey, it’s 1978 again! Yay! It’s 1985! We’re a family, with kids… and families have great memories.

Seeing them on the British Steel 30th anniversery tour felt like the 1980s.
