Somewhat shorter than average, with broader chests and wider waists, their limb proportions were also slightly different. Beneath massively muscled thighs were thicker, rounder and slightly curved leg bones; nonetheless, unlike countless inaccurate reconstructions, they absolutely walked as upright as us.
