They're so blinded by my fake smile they don’t see what’s going on Oblivious to the pain I feel because I act so strong

Seems like it was just yesterday, That I was willing it to risk it all And like the ebb and flow of the tide You washed away everything I felt So now I feel nothing And I don’t know what hurts more Losing the illusion of who you were Or accepting the veracity of who you are
