I had to drive a Fiat once for a year one week. I don't know that good tires are going to help with snow in the mountains.

Such a random thought. Also has no connection to her backstory which would have made sense. Who would be out on a night like that? Someone like them who drove into a ditch maybe.

Matthew catches movement out of the corner of his eye and looks up.
Everyone sees movement from corner of eye- which could have been an interesting plot element but no, it's just people coming down the stairs.
He wears clothes well.
so weird. And Dana is described as wearing clothes well also
