And yet, every single time I did something new, it always ended up being FINE. More than fine—it always ended up being THE BEST THING I HAD EVER DONE. Almost always, anything new that I (finally) try is immediately and instantly amazing. I’m always wondering why it took me so long to do it in the first place.
I’m convinced that imposter syndrome rears its head even when we’re good people and we’re good at what we do, because sometimes we are doing it in ways we don’t enjoy.
Maybe resistance is a signal for you to move on and find something you are passionate about.
IT’S OKAY for you to put parameters around what you will and won’t do. You don’t need a “reason.” You don’t need to justify yourself. You don’t need to overexplain. You can pick what feels good. You can pick pleasure.
