Un-Trumping America: A Plan to Make America a Democracy Again

If Democrats don’t get smarter and tougher about how we conduct politics and embrace the bold activism of the grassroots, we are going to continue to come up short. We might win some battles, but we will lose the war.

Voter suppression is not just a strategy to keep Republicans in power. It is a strategy to ensure the corporations, lobbyists, and the rich continue to call the shots in America.

The Trump presidency has provided a detailed map of the loopholes in our laws. It’s a reminder that we cannot depend on intrinsic morality or a sense of shame for our politicians to do the right thing. Norms and traditions are clearly not enough. The Democratic Party should advance an agenda that enshrines our norms into laws and ensures presidents are accountable for their actions.

when you have everything to lose, the only way to succeed is to run like you have nothing to lose.
