But not those defining moments; their scent lingers. We put those in the keepsake box, pull them out to talk about when we need someone to know what shaped us. But defining moments typically don’t happen alone. They happen because other moments happened and led us to a place or time where we would otherwise not be. In that way the little moments that go unnoticed define the larger happenings of our lives.
