Gerald’s eyes and mouth widened. He could hardly believe what he was hearing: I’ll beat the shit out of you. He felt the sheer ferocity and sincerity in Keith’s voice. The man was willing to attack a teenager to retrieve information from him. He crossed the line and hurled himself into a world of corruption. There were no more limits.

Keith said, “Unfortunately for you, I can’t let you go. If you’re even partly responsible for the kidnapping of my daughters, then I have to punish you. I need vengeance, Alvin. That’s as simple as I can put it.”
