Ketu takes a deep breath and sighs in defeat. She sighs the same way that humans do when they know they have to accept things that they cannot change. Unlike the other Celestial Beings that can bestow gifts and challenges, Ketu is different. She is the custodian of each Little Light's past actions and deeds – of what has been done and cannot be undone.

Our deeds stay with us forever. We cannot forget them no matter how hard we try.

To be born is to know suffering. To know pain. To know fear. To know deep yearning that can never be satisfied."
