“I can’t promise you forever,” she said. “You don’t have to. Just promise me tomorrow.”
“So dry your damn tears, Petty Officer, get on your feet, and let’s go to Earth. We’ll figure out who’s decided they can wage war against the NeoG.”
“Baby, I think Mama’s looking for the big rule.” “Live your truth. Whatever it is.” Rosa squeezed her eyes shut at the tears and hugged Gloria tighter. “Live your truth, my love. Whatever it is.”
“Could be worse,” Jenks replied with a smile as she turned and leaned her elbows on the bar. “We could have been called the Space Force.
“We go out into the black,” he said. “To protect the lost,” Sapphi continued. “And weary travelers far from home,” Locke and Garcia said together and shared a grin.
