Delegation is often misunderstood as a one-time social transaction to solve an immediate problem, when in reality, it’s an ongoing process of instructions, decisions, corrections, motivation, and feedback – all
required to get the job done correctly and on time.
To that extent, the only way to remove yourself from a direct leadership role is to place somebody else in your stead; somebody who shares your vision, leads with passion, and will ultimately make the right decisions while preserving the company’s culture.
