You can go to the shanty towns or slums in India or the favelas in Brazil, and most people will act in a recognizable manner: avoiding to shame themselves, avoiding to be of hassle (unless it’s a desperate salesperson or a robber), saying hello before they speak, taking turns in conversations, displaying some dignified demeanor and signs of cleanliness.
