Uncover the wound. Don’t pretend it isn’t there. Go back to revisit and relive the embarrassment, shame, failure, and fear.
“One thing that makes it possible to be an optimist is if you have a contingency plan for when all hell breaks loose.” Randy Pausch
Imagining the worst is about preparing for the emotions. It is also about getting proper perspective.
You will never be comfortable trying to be someone else.
Be a real version of yourself, not a poor imitation of someone else.
You need to be you. Within the youness, you is a fluid concept. You can improve you. Youness and improvement is a recipe for confidence.
Listen to one, and become a clone. Listen to two, and become confused. Listen to three or more, and gain confidence by getting better. Learn from them. Just don’t be them. Be yourself.
When you create space, you create peace. Learn the art of doing everything early.
