The begrudging respect I’ve gained for Serene has extended into an attraction I never anticipated. She’s gorgeous, there’s no getting around that. But I’m drawn to her intelligence and smart mouth. She’s unpredictable in every way. I can never gauge where our nightly conversations will take us.
