Between the president decertifying the deal and our withdrawal, we went to the Europeans again and again, saying we would stay in the deal if they would work with us to address its flaws. We could justify staying in the agreement if they agreed to join us in addressing Iran’s missile launches and foreign interference. Our offers were never accepted.
