Transsexual: Someone whose gender does not match the sex they were assigned at birth, usually in reference to binary trans women and trans men who undergo some type of medical transition. It has gone out of favor with many people in the current and upcoming generations, but remains an important identity marker as distinct from transgender for some individuals, especially in older generations.
