The “shaking the dust off” is a symbol of not taking the residue of rejection from one season or relationship into another. To do so is dangerous. It’s also toxic and unhelpful. Many times, your discernment regarding who is or isn’t your assignment is going to come through pure experimentation. As you engage in these relationships, more and more will be revealed.
