Frank De Martini, Pablo Ortiz, and several other men from the 88th floor went up to break through walls and pry open doors in an effort to rescue people trapped on higher floors. With crowbars and flashlights, resolve and grit, they were credited with saving at least seventy people, reaching as high as the 90th floor.
