I have never been to North Korea. I have never felt the urge to go there. It is a most unusual country. Even in China, people are living with certain basic rights. In North Korea, you have a population that is totally suppressed and completely isolated from the outside world. To say that the Kim family has built a personality cult would be a grave understatement. To the mesmerised Korean people, the Kims are semi-deity.
