Deloitte CEO Cathy Engelbert notes that she prefers to talk about these trends as the “work of the future” rather than the more commonly used term “the future of work.” We concur with this shift in terminology, as we think the former terminology is far more optimistic (and, we believe, more accurate) than the latter.
