At a very formative time in my life, I stumbled into this upward spiral of social trust, based purely on the fact that I led groups moving in unison. I am sure that this shaped who I am today. When someone views you through a positive lens, you tend to rise to those expectations. It’s as if you are being given permission to be your best self.
