When a surveillance team is on someone, their primary job is to make sure the target doesn’t see them. To do that, they act normal while their target is near. They walk at a normal pace. They blend in.  But when the target is out of sight, surveillance teams don’t act normal. They make hand signals to other surveillants. They sprint ahead to get in position. Or they stop. They pause for no reason. Maybe, they touch their ear and listen to an earpiece.
