we tend to see a person in the moment not as the journey they traveled to get here
the limitations I place on the dreams of others are the same limitations I place on myself
each day something withers and each day something blooms
happiness has a chance to grow when we see dandelions as flowers when we notice the grandiose within a small expression of beauty when we cherish a stumble as more of a reason for love
when you burn the food trip over your feet trip over your free will sometimes I feel my love for you more fully I see the uniqueness that makes you all you need to be you are a part of the collective broken beauty of the world
forgiving others is a wonderfully selfish act of liberation even if no one else knows you did it
forgive yourself for what you cannot change being a little damaged helps us...

my stress holds no special powers
Misfortune finds its power when we turn it into Misery
that thing that happened? it’s over it’s okay to stop running
we can listen to the medicine of others but ultimately we must find our own ways to heal
you are only as strong as you let yourself become you are a seed that pushes through the soil to unfold the waiting flower of you
if you want to experience serenity you cannot cling to the cacophony
strength knows how to be gentle when to be patient and when to walk away
make a certain peace with stagnation ask it to tea and stare patiently at one another when it is time to get up both of you will know
like a muscle it takes practice so I practice every time a wave crashes I hope I was harder to budge from whatever inner oasis I have cultivated that is the best we can do
it is not so much what we endured but that we survived
even from the wild fires a new forest comes
being strong is what people do when they do not have the luxury of being afraid
