Were Megalodons pack hunters?
Masao Tanaka’s only daughter was as beautiful as she was rebellious.
The man who cut the Meg’s heart out.
“SEE ANGEL—NATURE’S MOST PROLIFIC KILLING MACHINE. THREE SHOWS DAILY.”
The demons that haunt your dreams come from your past. The sooner you realize this, the sooner you can get on with your life.”
Outcome is often determined by the manner in which something is presented.”
“De mortuis nil nisi bonum, my dear. Of the dead, say nothing but good.”
She’s lying, Terry thought. Slow-moving currents wouldn’t carry hunks of titanium anywhere.
What had started out as fun and games was becoming dangerous.
“According to Greek mythology, the Titan god Epimetheus was charged with distributing gifts to all of the animals in the world, gifts necessary for survival. Unfortunately, Epimetheus ran out of gifts by the time it was humanity’s turn. And so his brother, Prometheus, stole the Sun’s energy and gave it to man. Zeus was so angered that he had Prometheus chained to a mountain, where vultures tore away at his liver for a thousand years. Prometheus means forethought; Epimetheus—afterthought.”

“What is it that man truly fears? Poverty, criticism, ill health, loss of a loved one, old age . . . of course, let’s not forget the ultimate fear: death. Think about it, without fear, we’d have no need for religion or war. Then again, fear is the great motivator, isn’t it?
Fear is nothing more than the dark side of thought, it has substance only in the mind. We create it, and we alone can destroy it.
Instead of focusing on solutions, modern man chooses to escape reality, and the battle is lost before it is ever begun.
True courage is doing the thing you fear doing most. There can be no courage unless you are scared. But to succeed in battle, you must move beyond fear.
Remember, all of the truly significant battles are waged within the self.”
