You may find that being in a crowded grocery store or a club can feel overwhelming because of all the different energies flying around. Beyond group energy, you may be especially receptive to the feelings and concerns of individuals. Naturally this can be overwhelming, so witches have developed a variety of methods for protecting ourselves from being derailed by rogue energy. We will cover this later in the book.
