He had never expected Luke to fall into his arms and be his forever, not really. But his fantasy was going to be hard to give up now he'd had a taste of what he could have.
"You're a nerd then?" Luke grinned at him but there was no malice in it, only affection. "Yeah." Your nerd, he wanted to add but instead said, "I like how it makes me feel." "And how's that?" The question was genuine enough, not teasing but curious. Remy had to think for a moment before deciding on, "Powerful. Like no one can hide anything from me." "Like a god." Remy had to smile even though his cheeks started to burn at his own hubris. "Yeah. Like a god."
Luke's eyes burned as they raked over his body and, for a moment, Remy felt genuinely frightened. If there hadn't been an unconscious man in the corner of the room waiting to die, he might have tried to make a break for it himself, running naked into the night.
"I guess we didn't really talk about what you wanted in all this." To Remy the answer was obvious. "You. Just you. I want to be there for you in whatever way you want me."
