There was one week when I was literally in the studio with both Fall Out Boy and Engelbert Humperdinck. I went from playing with an emo punk band, doing a song with lyrics that were all ‘fuck you’ and ‘I’m here to scream’ – and came with a video that involved me getting covered in blood while people were stabbed and smashed in the face with crowbars – to singing ‘Something About The Way You Look Tonight’ with the guy who did ‘Release Me’.
