“Out there is the sea. The waves come in, the waves go out. Slip into its rhythm for a while.”
Never ignore trauma. It will only traumatize you from the inside out.
There’s nothing as nerve-racking as the moment before you’re about to jump, when something goes from a concept that you’ve talked about and considered to a real, actual thing. It’s scary. It doesn’t matter if it’s taking your first trip overseas or jumping into the Mediterranean Sea at night. The abstract becomes your reality, and it’s happening. So I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and jump.
Our lives are made up of nothing but moments. But I want to live in every moment with her.
“You’ve always made sense to me.”
That’s what love does to you. It wakes you up. It makes you real.
