The Exact Opposite of Okay

Honestly, I swear I’m the only person in the universe who realizes how pointless life is.

You didn’t think before you spoke. You’re not the first person to do that, nor will you be the last. In fact someone else is doing it right now, right this very second. Forgive yourself.

“We’re going to talk to each other about how we’re feeling. And we’re going to cry when we need to. And we’re going to admit that sometimes, life just isn’t fucking funny.”

Because the way the world treats teenage girls—as sluts, as objects, as bitches—is not okay. It’s the exact opposite of okay.
