if I am right that we are currently in thrall to the left hemisphere’s view, one of the consequences would be, precisely, an inability to see the whole rather than a heap of disparate elements, together with a relative inability to understand what is happening, rather than simply document it, and attempt, as best one can, to find a series of ad hoc solutions.
