This means that the true path to enlightenment is not one of becoming a better, “more spiritual” person who has only kind and positive thoughts, but rather of unbecoming that which you’re not. At the deepest level, you’re already whole, and complete, and perfect. You’re already at one with the very essence of divinity itself. Therefore, your job is not one of becoming that which you already are, but rather of seeking out all the inner blocks that impede a direct and constant awareness of your true divine nature.
