A Separate Peace

We reminded them of what peace was like, of lives which were not bound up with destruction.

humanity doesn't do peace...but we call periods on 'not excessive violence in our life bubble', peace...there is always violence happening in the world, so is peace only equivalent to a country being at war with another country?

Never accuse a friend of a crime if you only have a feeling he did it.

the absolute truth seems to be something most of us grow out of as we 'mature' from children into adults...we hide behind the false definition that a white lie is better than a black lie...sad but true.
