Over the years of being a spiritual teacher, I have welcomed people’s stories and held each one with deep compassion. But this time it was too close to home. I began to feel my faith dwindle and my positive momentum slow down. I started to worry about some of the stories I was hearing and project them onto myself. I became very conscious of how other people’s words were affecting me. So as soon as I noticed that I wasn’t feeling good, I decided to pivot.
