The left says it does this mostly in pursuit of profit and on behalf of the capitalism that liberalism shelters (even as it smiles and pretends it does not); the right, that it does this in pursuit of perverse principles and on behalf of the monster state that liberalism idealizes (even as it frowns and pretends to love only freedom).
