Nonetheless, some people and especially empaths are well equipped by their very nature, at detecting falsehood. This is what creates the instant tension between a narcissist and an empath. It's a relationship that'll end up in conflict, sooner or later. Empaths are sensitive to emotional vibrations and narcissists find entertainment in this. However, when the empath finally understands what he/she's been subjected to, they'll often desire to confront the narcissist, which can be challenging and risky.
